Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you have a significant role as part of the pharmacy team, ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment and delivering exceptional care to patients. You will focus on patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory management, among other tasks.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to have finger dexterity for tasks such as picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead with body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Ability to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree using back and lower extremities
Ability to maintain close visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, or reading small parts
Ability to orally communicate detailed information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, striving to provide patient immunizations.
