Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you play a significant role by working as part of a pharmacy team to deliver exceptional care; helping patients manage chronic and specialty conditions; contributing to patient safety and quality assurance in a Retail Pharmacy setting; fostering a team environment committed to continuous improvement and care excellence

Job Responsibility:

Keeping customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
lead with heart, with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
seek new ways to grow, collaborate, and deliver better outcomes
align others around purpose and gain support and commitment
facilitate a team culture promoting caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
lift, scan, and bag items
finger dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
reach overhead
able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
stoop to a considerable degree requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions including bending spine at the waist
visual acuity: close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
able to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs, exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
