Job Description:

This position, offered by CVS Health, focuses on providing opportunities for pharmacy interns to gain real-world experience through active participation in patient care programs under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Interns will ensure a safe environment while learning regulatory adherence, customer service, and pharmacy management practices.

Job Responsibility:

Facilitate a team culture promoting energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Ensure patient safety, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage inventory and workflow excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Exhibit finger dexterity for tasks such as typing
Reach overhead and have visual acuity for close tasks
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Complete tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
