Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will deliver exceptional care under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practices, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory management. Students enrolled in ACPE-accredited colleges with relevant skills will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy environment.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
adjustable machine operations
Stoop to considerable degrees
Visual acuity for tasks such as reading
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, ability to provide patient immunizations.
