Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Key responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management. The role involves managing patient care programs and maintaining a safe Retail Pharmacy environment.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for detailed tasks
Ability to reach overhead and extend arms or legs to grasp items
Precision control to adjust machines
Ability to stoop and use lower extremities and back muscles to move items
Close visual acuity for transcribing, reading, and inspecting small parts
Ability to communicate orally with colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations as state regulations are met.
