Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will play a critical role at CVS Health. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will deliver exemplary patient care, manage patient programs, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain an effective pharmacy environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and customer service.

Conduct Pharmacy Professional Practice
Maintain regulatory requirements
Ensure quality assurance
Provide customer service
Handle inventory management
Manage workflow excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Possess and use finger dexterity
Reach overhead, stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Utilize precision control
Stoop and bend spine at the waist to move items
Visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection
Communicate orally
Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
Exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
