Job Description:

As a pharmacy intern, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment delivering exceptional care to patients.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity to pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and stretch or reach out with arms
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree to move items between low and high positions
Close visual acuity for activities like transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and inspection
Oral communication skills to convey information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs and exerting force to move objects.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Pharmacy interns should strive to provide patient immunizations where state regulations allow.
