Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment. You will uphold patient safety, professional practice, and manage workflows while delivering exceptional care to patients.

Job Responsibility:

Keeping customers and patients healthy through patient care programs
Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes
Align others around the purpose of health and gain support
Promote a team culture of caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control and dexterity
Visual acuity and verbal communication skills
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
