Job Description:

The pharmacy intern has a significant role in delivering CVS Health's purpose, working as part of the pharmacy team to ensure a safe environment and provide exceptional care. Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory requirements, customer service, inventory management, and more. The intern is expected to lead with empathy, seek growth, and align team efforts with CVS Health's mission.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity
Reach overhead
Precision control
Stoop
Visual Acuity
Oral communication
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Ability to complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
