Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
ability to work with fingers for tasks like pinching, typing, etc.
ability to stretch to grasp items
ability to place, move, or lift items
ability to stoop and bend spine
ability to perform close visual inspection
ability to orally communicate information and instructions
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
should be striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
