As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will be a key member of the pharmacy team, working under supervision to ensure a safe and effective work environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, workflow management, and facilitating a team culture built around CVS Health’s purpose and values.

Requirements:
Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Ability to reach overhead
able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions, including bending spine at the waist
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
Able to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
Nice to have:
Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, pharmacy interns should be striving to provide patient immunizations as this is an essential pharmacist function
