Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a significant role in delivering care as part of the pharmacy team. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, workflow management, customer service, inventory management, quality assurance, and patient safety, all under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The position emphasizes continuous growth, teamwork, and patient-focused initiatives.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to engage in finger dexterity tasks like typing or picking
Ability to reach overhead, extend hands and arms multiple directions, and stoop to move items
Visual acuity for close inspection and using computer terminals
Oral communication to convey instructions to colleagues and customers
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
Capacity to exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally or 10 lbs frequently
Precision control for adjusting machines
Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
