Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist as part of the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care. You will address key areas such as patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and workflow management while focusing on improving health outcomes and driving positive change in healthcare.

Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy
Ensure compliance with patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and inventory management.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop and bend to move items between low and high positions
Visual acuity to perform tasks like transcribing and reading
Oral communication of information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Compliance with supervisor directives and completion of required training and licensure.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
