Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will assist the Pharmacy team in providing an excellent patient experience while progressing through the ExperienceRx™ program. Responsibilities include prescription filling, patient counseling, customer service, and managing inventory under supervision. Additional tasks involve implementing patient care programs and promoting team culture.

Job Responsibility:

Participates in all aspects of the prescription filling process
Providing Patient Counseling
Collaboration with all Healthcare Professionals to provide coordinated patient care
Offering Health Screenings and Immunizations when appropriate
Customer Service
Patient Safety
Assisting Pharmacy Patients and Front Store customers with questions
Pharmacy Professional Practice
Regulatory Requirements
Inventory Management
Keeping customers and patients healthy through patient care programs
Display empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues
Motivate and inspire your Pharmacy Team
Identify critical business opportunities
Support implementation of solutions for your team
Adapt to change and adjust plans
Remain current on new developments and training
Seek new ways to grow and collaborate
Align others around purpose
Contribute to team culture of caring and enthusiasm

Requirements:

Active Pharmacy Intern License in the state in which you are employed
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy
