Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, playing a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, customer service, and workflow management. You will help patients manage chronic and specialty conditions and deliver exceptional care.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items
Ability to visually inspect involving small parts
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs., with up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
