Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assisting in retail pharmacy operations while ensuring patient safety, compliance, and quality care. Responsibilities include managing workflows excluding final prescription verification and adopting patient programs.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control for adjusting machines to exact positions
Ability to reach overhead, stretch, or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs
Stoop to considerable degree, including bending spine at the waist
Close visual acuity
Ability to orally communicate instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally or 10 lbs frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations after meeting state regulations.
