Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a critical role under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist by delivering safe and effective care in a retail pharmacy setting. You will ensure patient safety, handle inventory, deliver customer service, and adopt patient care programs.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to use finger dexterity for tasks such as picking, pinching, typing
Ability to reach overhead, extend hands and arms for tasks
Ability to stoop, move items between low and high positions
Ability to maintain precision control of machinery
Ability to visually inspect and transcribe small details
Ability to orally communicate instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor
Complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
