Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will play a significant role in CVS Health by working as a part of the pharmacy team, delivering care to patients, ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment, and helping individuals on their path to better health under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Seeking new ways to grow, collaborating with others, and delivering better outcomes
Aligning others around CVS's purpose to bring heart to every health moment and gain support and commitment
Facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Participating in patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for tasks like typing and picking
Ability to reach overhead, stretch, and move items
Precision control for adjusting machines
Ability to stoop and bend
Close visual acuity for activities like transcribing and reading
Oral communication skills
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Complete all required training and obtain licensure within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
