Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in a Retail Pharmacy work environment under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead, stretch, and grasp items
Precision control for adjusting machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop and use back muscles to move items between low and high positions
Visual acuity to perform activities like transcribing and visual inspection
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
