Job Description:

As a 3rd-year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management, among others. The position requires regular attendance, physical activity, and licensure requirements, with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: able to adjust machines
Stoop to considerable degree requiring full use of lower extremities and back
Visual Acuity for transcribing, viewing computer screens, and small part inspections
Able to orally communicate information
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Provide patient immunizations once eligible.
