Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you'll play a critical role under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. You'll engage in patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control
Stoop to a considerable degree
Close visual acuity for tasks such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and reading
Oral communication of information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, or 10 lbs. of force frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
