Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, patient care program adoption, and workflow management. This role focuses on improving access, lowering costs, and enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control
Stoop to a considerable degree
Visual acuity
Oral communication skills
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
