Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring safe and effective operations in a Retail Pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, quality assurance, customer service, and workflow management, while developing your skills and contributing to patient care.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes
Promote a team culture of caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Facilitate adoption and management of patient care programs
Support pharmacy team operations under licensed supervision.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop and bend the spine at the waist
Visual acuity for detailed work
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
