Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
