Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you work as part of the pharmacy team under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your role ensures a safe Retail Pharmacy work environment while focusing on delivering care to patients. Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory requirements, inventory management, and customer service.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
able to stretch or reach out with body, arms, and/or legs
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree including bending spine at waist
Visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading small parts
Oral communication of information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
