Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Your responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory adherence, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, workflow management, and leadership.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobile and able to remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Reach overhead
Stretch or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
Precision control
Stoop and move items between positions
Close visual acuity
Ability to orally communicate instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exert up to 20 lbs. occasionally and/or 10 lbs. frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
