Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in delivering safe and effective retail pharmacy services. You will engage in helping patients through care programs, inventory management, patient safety, and customer service, while modeling values of empathy, compassion, and teamwork. This position requires physical tasks like lifting, mobility, and visual inspections.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes
Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment
Manage inventory and workflow excluding final prescription verification
Participate in state regulations for patient immunizations.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Visual acuity and finger dexterity for tasks such as typing or inspecting small parts
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) preferred.
