Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, delivering exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities include patient safety, managing workflow, customer service, inventory management, and pharmacy practice while aligning with CVS Health's mission to change health care for the better.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and extend arms
Precision control for adjusting machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to considerable degree and use lower extremities and back muscles
Close visual acuity for transcribing, viewing, and visual inspections
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
