Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and play a significant role in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, maintaining regulatory requirements, offering customer service, and managing pharmacy workflow.

Job Responsibility:

Facilitate a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment
Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy
Lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues
Promote a team culture of caring, energy, and enthusiasm
Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control for adjusting machines to exact positions
Visual acuity for transcribing and inspections
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
