Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Your role includes patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory management. You will play a key role in patient care programs and team collaboration.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for typing and small-item handling
Ability to reach overhead and extend arms in various directions
Visual acuity for tasks like transcribing and reading
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
