Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, quality assurance, customer service, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification. The role focuses on delivering exceptional care to patients and supporting the company's purpose.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
lift, scan, and bag items
finger dexterity
reach overhead
extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
precision control
stoop and bend spine
close visual acuity
orally communicate information and instructions
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
