Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, workflow management, and leadership actions.

Requirements:

  • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • 0-3 years relevant work experience
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
  • Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
  • Finger dexterity for typing or precision tasks
  • Ability to reach overhead and move/stretch multiple directions
  • Precision control to adjust machines
  • Stoop and bend using lower extremities and back muscles
  • Close visual acuity for tasks such as computer use, reading, or inspecting small parts
  • Oral communication skills to convey information and instructions
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
  • Additional tasks as directed by supervisors or managers
  • Completion of required licensure and training within state guidelines.

Nice to have:

  • Immunization eligibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
