Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributing as part of the pharmacy team. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment, promoting patient safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, and inventory management. The role emphasizes continuous professional growth and patient care programs.

manage pharmacy inventory and workflow excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
lift, scan, and bag items
finger dexterity
reach overhead
stretch or reach out with the body, arms, or legs
extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
stoop to considerable degree
close visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading
orally communicate information and instructions
lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
