Job Description:

Working as a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment delivering exceptional care to patients.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
finger dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
ability to reach overhead
extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
stoop to a considerable degree
visual acuity: close visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection
ability to orally communicate information and instructions
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
