Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you play a critical role in a retail pharmacy setting. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management. You will be immersed in a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, contributing to increasing access, lowering costs, and improving the quality of care.

Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity
Reach overhead to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to move items
Stoop to a considerable degree
Visual Acuity for activities such as reading or inspecting
Able to orally communicate information
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Complete any additional tasks as directed by a supervisor or manager
Meet state licensure requirements

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
