Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will contribute to patient care, manage pharmacy responsibilities, and ensure safety and quality assurance in retail pharmacy operations.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment
Deliver exceptional care to each patient
Manage patient care programs
Workflow management excluding final prescription verification

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to considerable degree
Close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and reading
Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently
Oral communication of information and instructions

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations
