Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support pharmacy operations while delivering exceptional care to patients. The position involves supporting various tasks such as patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, customer service, inventory, and workflow management.

Maintain patient safety and ensure quality assurance
Manage pharmacy inventory and workflow excluding final prescription verification
Assist in regulatory compliance and customer service.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity for picking, pinching, and typing
Ability to reach overhead and extend arms in multiple directions
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop and bend
Visual Acuity for reading and inspecting small parts
Oral communication to relay information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
