Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will have a significant role in the pharmacy team by delivering purpose-driven service and ensuring a safe and effective pharmacy environment. You will help manage patient care programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Perform inventory management
Collaborate in workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, pharmacy interns should be striving to provide patient immunizations as this is an essential pharmacist function.
