Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern under supervision, you will ensure a safe retail pharmacy environment, provide exceptional patient care, and assist in various tasks such as patient safety, quality assurance, inventory management, and adopting patient care programs.

Job Responsibility:

facilitate a team culture promoting caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
ensure safety and effectiveness in a retail pharmacy work environment
adoption and management of patient care programs.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
finger dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or working with fingers
reach overhead
ability to adjust machines to exact positions
stooping to considerable degree to move items
close visual acuity for activities like reading or transcribing
ability to orally communicate instructions to colleagues and customers
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
