Job Description:

The role involves working as a 3rd year pharmacy intern under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include ensuring safety in retail pharmacy, enhancing patient care, regulatory compliance, and assisting colleagues and customers in alignment with the company's purpose.

Ensure retail pharmacy safety and effectiveness

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to use finger dexterity
Ability to reach overhead and in multiple directions
Precision control to adjust machines
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree
Visual acuity for activities like transcribing and viewing a computer terminal
Ability to orally communicate instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10 lbs. frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, striving to provide patient immunizations.
