Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a Retail Pharmacy environment, contributing to patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control to adjust machines
Stoop to considerable degree including bending spine
Visual Acuity for tasks like transcribing, computer use, and reading
Ability to orally communicate
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exerting force up to 20 lbs occasionally and negligible amounts frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Pharmacy interns providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
