Job Description:

As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification).

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and extend hand(s) and arm(s) to grasp items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop and use lower extremities and back muscles
Visual Acuity to transcribe, view computer terminals, read, and inspect small parts
Ability to orally communicate information
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
