Job Description:

As a pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver exceptional retail pharmacy care. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe and effective pharmacy environment, customer service, patient safety, and inventory management. Job Responsibility:

Ensuring patient safety
Adopting and managing patient care programs
Displaying empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues
Seeking new ways to collaborate and deliver better outcomes
Promoting a team culture of caring, energy, and enthusiasm
Managing inventory and workflow excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
Visual acuity for activities such as transcribing and viewing computers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Providing patient immunizations once state requirements are met.
