Job Description:

At CVS Health, pharmacy interns work as part of the team to provide patient care while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include patient care, pharmacy workflow management, inventory management, and compliance with pharmacy regulations. The role requires physical mobility, dexterity, and strong communication skills.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control
Stoop to a considerable degree
Visual acuity for activities like transcribing and reading
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Oral communication skills.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
