Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver patient care and ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification. You will also adopt and manage patient care programs while aligning with CVS’s core mission to improve healthcare for all.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead
Ability to extend hands and arms to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop
Visual acuity: close visual acuity to transcribe, view a computer terminal, read, and visually inspect small parts
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
