Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you have a significant role working as part of the pharmacy team – delivering purpose, modeling values, and demonstrating care for patients. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that includes patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
Stretch or reach out with body, arms, and legs to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control: Adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to considerable degree, using lower extremities and back muscles
Visual acuity for activities like transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading
Oral communication of information and instructions
Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs, exerting 10 lbs force frequently, negligible force constantly
Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor
Complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
