Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, playing a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing or working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and stretch or grasp items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to considerable degree moving items between low and high positions
Close visual acuity for activities like transcribing, computer usage, and inspections involving small parts
Oral communication skills for delivering information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs with exertion of force as needed

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
