Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and play a critical role in patients' health journeys. Responsibilities include patient safety, quality assurance, regulatory adherence, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management. You will also manage patient care programs and collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional care.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Reach overhead
Stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: Adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree, using lower extremities and back muscles
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
Orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
