Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver exceptional care, ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment, and contribute to the company's mission to change health care for the better.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate and deliver better outcomes
Align others around the purpose of bringing heart to health
Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm and pride
Management of patient care programs
Workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity
Ability to reach overhead and stretch
Precision control
Ability to stoop and bend spine
Close visual acuity for transcribing and computer-related tasks
Ability to communicate orally
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
