Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective pharmacy environment while providing quality care for patients. Responsibilities include focusing on patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service. The role will also involve managing inventory, workflow, and supporting overall pharmacy operations.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and stretch or reach out with body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree and use lower extremities and back muscles
Close visual acuity for activities like transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading small parts
Ability to orally communicate instructions and information
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
